Google analytics is one of the best tools to track your  website traffic. Like any other website or blog, it is  equally important to add the google analytic code and ID to your blog. This is bacause it gives a clear view of your website. With google analytics properly added to your blog, you will be able to:

-Who your audience are in terms of age,sex ,and location;
-You will know their behavior;
-Check out conversions etc
    This data is very helpful when it comes to improving  your website  to make it user friendly.There are many properties you can exploit to get a clear view of your website visitors .

In addition a google analytic code on your blogger blog will help you when registering on websites that measure your influenece score using your website traffic data.

1. How add your website/blog in your Analytics Account
1. Get Google analytic ID and Tracking code from your Google Analytic Account and
2. Add Google Aanlytic ID  and  code on your  blogger blog

                       
                           Adding your website in Google Analytics Account
Getting a Google analytic account simply require a gmail account. This is why Google rocks!!
You can upto 50 websites in the free analytics account.
Here are the  Steps to add a website :
i. Go to https://analytics.google.com  or google.com/analytics and sign in with your gmail login details.

ii. In your  analytic account,Click on the ''ADMIN'' tab
You should the ''PROPERTY ''
iii. Click on Property (Click on drop down )
iii. Enter your website Details and click on get ''Get Tracking ID''

    
That is it. we have successfully added the site into our Analytic account.


         Add Google Anlytics Code and ID to Blogger

Copy the ID UX-XXXXX-Y
Login to blogger,Click on Settings and Then on Other.
You should see ''Analytics Web Property ID'' Paste the code in the space and save changes.


Also copy the script after the code ''Website Tracking''
